1979 Telugu Film

Desa Drohulu (transl. Traitors) is a 1964 Indian Telugu-language action-drama film, produced and directed by Bolla Subba Rao under the Sri Rama Pictures banner. It stars N. T. Rama Rao, Devika, Kanta Rao, and music composed by S. Rajeswara Rao.

The story is based on the life of Vishvamitra, who is one of the most venerated sages of ancient times in India. At last, Vishwamitra penance power reaches to heights of Himalayas where he utilizes it to the welfare of the universe by preaching great Gayatri Mantra and the movie ends Vishwamitra becoming one among the stars of the universe at Saptarishi Mandalam.

It is an Epic story based on the book Virata Parva of Mahabharatha. After 12 years of Vanavasam, the Pandavas spend their 13th year of exile the Agnaadhavasam in an incognito state with disguised identities at the court of Virata. Follows how they end their exile & the marriage celebration of Uttara and Abhimanyu.

A retelling of Mahabharata through the perspectives of KARNA and DURYODHANA. The film uses dialogue and poetry written in Classical Telugu/ Grandhika Basha.

Born to Bhimamba and Marayya, Srinatha earns the title Kavi Sarvabhowma. He dedicates many of his works to kings in exchange for gifts and leads a luxurious life as a courtier.

Balarama promises Subhadra that he'll marry his daughter to her son. But when the Pandavas lose their kingdom to the Kauravas, Balarama breaks his promise.
