History of a love triangle between a musician named H. Eire, a friend of him and the latter's companion. In the life of Eire there appears in addition an uncle and his niece, the first anchored in his interest in literature and the second, to become a very interesting young woman.

At the end of the 50s, after assassinating the legendary capo Goncalves and dividing their domains, Ventura and Otálora, rival and old friends, fight with their bands for the control of prostitution and contraband.
