In 1993 Sarajevo was under the siege. Against all odds a small group of enthusiasts managed to open the First War Cinema in Sarajevo. For them this cinema was a distinction between surviving and being alive. Twenty years afterwards the marks of being alive resurface.

Film follows a woman walking this very route. She stops, hesitates, runs. She waits, calculates and bends down. Every crossing is a new challenge and new calculation.

Thursday resulted from the famous Danish CPH-Dox projects whereby two filmmakers (one European, one non-European) collaborate. Suwichakornpong and Kameric wrote visual dialogues from Asia and Europe, as it were.

In and around a house love stories intertwine. One love story leads to another. The ghosts of love are left behind to seek the answers to the same question: "What do I know about love?"
