Andrew Wood grew up in Topeka, Kansas before his family moved to California when he was a child. He graduated from the Cal State Northridge in 1987 with a degree in mechanical engineering and film production. Wood has also worked as a director of photography on Jeff, Stairways, Grandma Money and The House Guest.
