This is an intersting movie as it is very different to the movies that were realeased in the 70s.Most of the movie is shot outdoors and it is more in touch with reality rather than the usual dramatic type. Prem Nazir's performance is something very diffrernt to his usual polished self. He acts as a rough police officer which is a welcome change.

A young man rescues a woman from drowning. However, he soon discovers to his surprise that the woman has astounding supernatural powers that she never revealed before.

The son of a single mother kills a person who had tried to rape her. During the trial, when the mother steps in to give her verdict, she finds that the judge is none other than her son's father.

The film focused on the evils of prostitution and pointed a finger at the circumstances that force a woman into this shameful profession.

A conservative village girl Rosamma (Sheela) is exploited by various men including her husband. She goes to Bombay where she starts an escort service and ends up being a person of influence and power.
