Serbian novelist Bora Stankovic lives in Belgrade during WWI. He’s torn between the need to work and the need to resist working for the papers controlled by the occupiers, the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

Tihomir Stojković became famous after the series The Family Treasure, and profits around Serbia on his fame. He receives an invitation from Serbian TV that he should hand over the car to the prize winner, but his uncle Žitko wrongly tells him that the car is going to be given to him.

An orphan finds a family, old couple that has no children, day before Christmas. The twists and turns of this melodramatic comedy is inspired by timeless words of Branislav Nušić.

The action takes place in Valjevo during WWI.
