A dancer leaves a folklore troupe to work in a nightclub on El-Haram street. Three men get into a conflict over her. Which one will she choose?

Qamar is a belly dancer who moves into building inhabited by several families. When she moves in, she is bombarded by the husbands' attention. The husbands are Fawzi, a tax authority employee, an Arabic teacher and a singer. Their family lives are disrupted, and their wives attempt to keep their husbands in a comedy setting.

The series revolves around a group of people who each live alone in rented rooms on two separate floors of an old Arab house, owned by Umm Fawaz (Mona Wasef), a seventy-year-old woman who rents out the downstairs rooms to women and the upstairs rooms to men. Their daily lives intersect within the confines of the space.
