1945. A packed ferry drifts down the Vistula after its tow rope snaps. Only a single militiaman sees notices the ferry and organizes a rescue before the it drifts into the Gdańsk Bay, which is still full of mines.

A modest tailor sews a cape in his basement. He would like to use it to fly. Modern machines change other people. The tailor remains the same, old-fashioned person. Persecuted, he escapes on the sewing machine and rises into the air. He flies among the zodiacal constellations. Earthly pursuers follow him and shake hands with him. However, this is just another dream of a modern Icarus.

Slim Mr. Traba and fluffy Mrs. Barbara are a good marriage. It is the moonlight that triggers off Mr. Traba’s dreamy nature. He decides to leave his marriage nest and meet the Moon Girl. Mr. Traba lands on stage of a concert hall. The animal audience admires his performance, the Moon Girl throws a flower at his feet from the box, despite the fact that he is totally out of tune. After a crazy night...
