The events take place in a social context around “Khalil,” one of the symbols of the business community who has power and influence. Suddenly, his life turns upside down after a man appears who reveals a secret that threatens Khalil’s entire empire and shakes his throne. This secret concerns the maid, "Buthaina".

The events revolve around a representative in Parliament who represents one of the constituencies in Upper Egypt. He was able to achieve great successes, but he dies. The family nominates his daughter, a law school graduate, to take his place, but she encounters many problems.
