The story of four young men who were high school classmates. Despite the differences in their understanding of life, their work and their tendencies, they somehow share something in common, as their destinies intersect to tell a story about love, friendship and the double standards of morality.

The events of the series take place in the period from 1939 to 1945, the period of the Syrian struggle against the French occupation, by reviewing the current events in that period and shedding light on several characters and their social and political relationships.

A prominent Damascene family in the tobacco trade struggles to maintain its dominance against a rising young merchant shaking up the market. Leading the battle against him is the family’s youngest heir.
