A mysterious murder takes place in a village near Damascus called Mafraq. Then an investigation begins to search for the perpetrator among members of two families living in the village. The investigations reveal shocking and unexpected secrets and details.

The plot revolves around a Jordanian woman who owns a house in Damascus and plans to sell it, but her Syrian neighbor seeks to thwart her plan through a series of funny events and sudden situations.

The events take place inside a Damascus neighborhood in two time periods separated by 15 years, during the period that preceded the liberation of Damascus from the Ottoman occupation, and the period of the Ottoman control over the neighborhood, as a strong conflict erupts among the notables of the neighborhood to respond to and resist it.
