Jockey Johnny Jones is hired to ride The Earl of Bloomsburg's horse at the English Derby. Crooked gambler Robert Anstead frames Johnny as a thief and kidnaps his sweetheart in order to make Johnny throw the race. Will he succeed?

The picture opens with Brownie in a tuxedo, eating an elaborate meal and finishing with the proper use of his finger bowl. It is all a dream, however, as he is but the assistant to an itinerant glazier who ties a stone to Brownie's tail and has him break show windows for his master to repair. The glazier combines business with a clothes cleaner and Brownie with his mud-smeared tail, rubs up agains...

A 1921 American silent short film directed by Fred Hibbard for Century Film Company and starring Baby Peggy and Brownie the dog. It was rediscovered in Switzerland in 2010.
